Colour Renovation

Its time for a colour Renovation!
Wow Stampin' Up! is undergoing a colour Renovation, very exciting time.I Just love the new fresh look of the colour.

So here are the Found Farewell colours that are going to retired in August 2010.
Even through the changes won't happen for 5 months, I thought I would let you know so that you can start to stock up so you don't miss out.
I personally would start purchasing the reinkers now rather than wait, I think it will be a case of while stock last as we get towards August. Dont forget your cardstock too if you love the farewell colours.

You can email to purchase your colours- tbrown@dcsi.net.au
Wow this is very exciting as this is the New Colour Collections that will be available in September 2010. As you can see we will be having some new core colours, and we'll also see some of the past incolours bought back yip pee
what can I say I just love the new Collection and I think the Neutrals & Regals will become my favourites to work with -But sorry I can also see myself working with them all.
Please let me know your thoughts on the exciting changes. As Stampin' Up! lets me know more I will let you know.
Happy Stamping

Premium Crease Pad - Big Shot tutorial

This applies to ALL OF THE DIES WITH SCORE lines, such as the envelope die, the pillow box and so on.

Premium Crease Pad Step by Step

STEP 1: place BOTH of the opaque plastic shim pieces from the Premium Crease pad package on top of the clear Standard Cutting Pad.

STEP 2: Place the Scallop Envelope Bigz die - foam side up - on top of the white plastic shim pieces (being careful to get it exactly centered over the plastic pieces).
STEP 3: place your cardstock or DSP on the die.. I like to place the part you want as the "outside' of the envleope FACE DOWN (notice in the finished sample, these squares will end up in the inside of the env.)

This becomes your "sandwich". (If you are hungry, I'd suggest keep on stamping ) :)
STEP 5: Roll your "sandwich" through the Big Shot
STEP 6: As you take the "sandwich" out of the Big Shot, and take the Crease Pad off, you'll see the die has cut the envelope shape perfectly and made the 4 crease/score lines

STEP 7: When you flip it over you'll see how nicely those score marks show up!
Step 8 Fold your envelope on the score lines
Hope that was helpful.. Happy stamping Teresa

Big Shot autumn-winter mini catalogue

Welcome to my blog

This big shot die- cutting machine is just the best to use along with numerous dies!
This is the product you've been wanting, and and I can certainly understand why as I have been playing with it all week doing lots of diffrent cards scrapbook pages and more. Some of the cards I have put together this week there no stoping I just wont to keep palying so much fun.
For this card I have used one of the new in color Rich Razzleberry card Stock and Ribbon and the die cut Stampin' Up! Top Note on whisper white card stock then perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder on the bottom of the card one of the new punches Extra- Large Two-Step Bird in close to cocoa H/Set Sweet little sentiments uni-ball Signo Gel Pen
The new punch
Punches out the bird the wing and the leaves all at one time Hoe COOl is that love it
In the card below I have used the new in color Melon Mambo card stock basic black for the new bird punch the movers & shapers to cut out the card. This is a great it has a movable piece and I used the Curly Label die cuts and score your card in an instant! Place your magnetic movable piece on the magnetic side of the die to cut a window in the front of your card as I have this is just a bit bigger than the punch so I stamp out the words from the curly label punch bundle in Melon Mambo ink and punch out. Place it through the die cut window it looks great.
also added the perfect polka dots to the bottom of my card and some Whisper white Grosgrain Ribbon across to finish it off Using the Manhattan Flower love this embossing Folder
How exciting the new autumu - winter mini catalogue is full of amazing new products
The BIG SHOT Newstyle punches 3 new in colors and more If you can't make it to one of my workshop or classes and you don't have an existing Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, give me a call and I"d be happy to pop a copy of the mini in the mail to you..
