Mediterranean Moments

Hi and good afternoon today is very hot here in warragul Victoria Australia.

I am happy to say i have recive my first email as some of my crafty friends also follow me on my facebook page https://www.facebook.comstampingwithteresaindpepentstampinupdemonstrator/facebook which i put a post asking any if I could help with shareing how to make a diffrent card or share a technique. So today I received a email from Sue, I havent seen Sue for a few years as had moved a way. So you can imagine how delighted I was to hear from her and knowing that she is doing really well.

So Sue request was how to use her Auqa painter as it had been a very long time in using it.. The Aqua painter is one of my favourite tools to use. You can find them on page 180 in our Annual Catalogue. I love that the Aqua painter hold liquid for watercolouring and other things but today i will stick to water . You get two painters one medium brush tip and one large brush tip. Use with our water colour paper (p175) or our shimmery white card stock (p175) or our card stock and our Classic Stampin Ink (p169-171.

Today I am going to walk you through how to use and paint with your Aqua painter I have chosen an amazing stamp set that is new from our Occasions Catalogue  stared on the 4th January 2017. Its the Mediterranean Moment Stamp Set and its amazing to water colour. Sorry need to go to bottom of page for step 1.
Step 8 Make sure back of card is dry befor you add adhesives.
Then add to your Basic Black mat. Add it to your Note Card.
Step 7 Using Chocolate chip ink and colour the seat as i  photo below.
Step 6 using the Smoky Slate Ink do a thin wash let dry then add to add high lights as in the photo above.

Step 6

Step 5 Using Pacific Point or the colour you have to do the pots and street light.

Step 5

Keep building but dont have it to wet as this is card stock not watercolor paper, to wet and the card will peel so keep paper towel on hand to dry brush.

Step 4 start with a light wash first let dry. Then  uild on the colour untill your happy with it. Let dry between layers of colour. Its good to have lighter and darker areas.

Step 4 mix the two together to get the  colour you like try on a scrap card first.

Step 3 do a light wash with the Old Olive. If you haven't used an Aqua painter
Before do not put too much water in it to start with. Squeeze Ink pad together
Then open and use the lid with the Aqua painter as you can see in step 4

Step 3 using the Old Olive Ink

Step 2 On your Whisper White Card Stamp ou images in Early Espresso let dry.

Step 1. Cut whisper white card stock 3" x 4 1/2" also cut one Basic Black 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" mat your card image. You also need one Whisper  White  Note Card (p176)
